The conference REurban was held on the 13th October in via dei Missaglia, dedicated to urban regeneration divided into five actions narrated by the protagonists: Regenerating, Reusing, Recyclig, Reiventing, Retelling.
The initiative took place at The Dap, an exhibition space created between the architectures of Unipol's Business Park which was temporarily re-functionalized to host cultural content dedicated to art, social and environmental sustainability in a dialogue with the Gratosoglio district.
The initiative included, among others, the presence of Mario Cucinella Architects for an in-depth study on green building and Studio Azzurro for a story of 100 years of Milanese architecture through a video installation.
On the occasion of the event, the new TRILITE installation by VATRAA Architecture was inaugurated, an impressive open-air artistic installation winner of an international competition promoted by National Geographic and YAC in which young designers from all over the world were invited to design a "Plastic monument". The work, produced by Urban Up and installed in the space of Via dei Missaglia in Milan, reproduces the architecture of Stonehenge made entirely from plastic bottles to reflect on the consequences of disposable culture.
