Among piles of rubble and spontaneous vegetation, in the abandoned area of the former Mercatone Uno owned by the Unipol group in Bologna, regeneration has begun. Ceremony, the first site-specific installation created by TRAC Tresoldi Academy with the scientific collaboration of G124 (the group wanted by the architect and senator Renzo Piano for ongoing research on the theme of urban suburbs), promoted and supported by Urban Up | Unipol, represents the prelude to the significant ongoing requalification in the area. This project, which includes the construction of a complex of new residences and services, aims at a reconnection with the city. The artwork, a 5.30-meter-high structure made of wire mesh, soil, vegetation, and locally sourced materials, is the result of the joint work of Edoardo Tresoldi and 15 young students from the Academy of which Tresoldi is the artistic director.

The school is the result of a collaboration between YAC - an architecture Academy that provides training for young designers by giving them the opportunity to work with major international studios - and STUDIO STUDIO STUDIO, an interdisciplinary reality founded by Edoardo Tresoldi to support contemporary projects.
